Visiting any church for the very first time can be an intimidating experience. We want your first visit to CRBC to be refreshing and enjoyable for you if you come alone, with friends or with your entire family. How many attend Columbia Road Baptist Church?
There are over 100 people attending a small groups each week and over 300 in weekend Worship Services at CRBC.
Do I need to dress up to fit in at Columbia Road Baptist Church?
CRBC has a “come as you are” atmosphere. Most attendees will be dressed up; however some will be dressed casual. Remember, this is God’s house and we ask that all attire be appropriate for a place of worship.
How do I know where to go?
Greeters are located at the front entrance and will be happy to assist you in any way possible. If you arrive for the Sunday School hour, the greeters will help you find the right classes for you and your family and will personally take you to those classes.
What are your services like?
A typical worship service will consist of a traditional blend style of congregational and special singing, clear, challenging Bible preaching concluding with an invitation to make personal decisions to follow Christ as Savior or to walk more closely with Him.
What if I have small children?
If you have infants/babies, we have a well-staffed and secure nursery suite where screened and qualified workers will happily receive your infant through two-year-old children. For children two years old through 6th grade there are fun, friendly Bible-centered Sunday School classes. Teenagers join the regular worship service in the auditorium.
What is your pastor like?
Pastor Jenkins is dynamic, energetic, and funny. His leadership provides direction, vision, and wisdom for our church. Pastor Jenkins is a lifelong learner and an avid reader. He loves nothing better than spending time with his family; and being supportive to the members of the church and the community.
